Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude is an Canadian actor who is best recognized for her role in the fantasy TV series Shadowhunters on Freeform, as well as Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda as well as Voltea Pa' Que Te Enamores. Emeraude Toubia also is a skilled model and dancer. She hails from Montreal, but grew up and studied in Texas. Her passion for dancing has been in her since she was a child. Her training began in early in different forms. When she was 15 she began competing in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained notoriety in 2008 after she appeared in Nuestra Bella Latina's second season. It was a Univision beauty contest series. She began acting in 2010 when she played an office receptionist on a Telemundo episode. In 2015, she appeared in her debut movie, the action-drama Tattooed Love.
